I wanted to study and become an officer but the family circumstances changed in such a way that I was forced into the business. After my father’s death, my mother got married again. I was 17 at that time. My stepfather had evil eyes on me. I understood this very well but did not have the courage to tell my mother. Because in my mother’s eyes my stepfather was a god. He had supported my mother by marrying her.
Once my mother had to go to my maternal uncle’s place. I kept requesting her to take me along but she left me there saying that she should take care of her father’s food and drink. And that very night my father ruined me. I kept crying in pain but that monster did not have any mercy. He kept on beating me the whole night under the influence of alcohol. Later I don’t know what that step father told my mother that she did not believe me. And later these people sold me to a brick kiln owner for just Rs. 100000.
Here I was made to do backbreaking work during the day and was brutally tortured at night. But in 5 months, one day I ran away seeing an opportunity. After this I reached my maternal uncle’s house where my aunt sent me to her brother on the pretext of the honor of the house. The same thing started there too. When I protested a lot, I was sold once again. This time I was trapped in hell. This was not someone’s house, it was a brothel. There were many girls like me here. I did not have the courage to protest anymore. I accepted my fate and surrendered. Once I was booked and sent out. The seth there had drunk too much. He fell down without doing anything. Our agent usually comes back after an hour to pick us up. So here I saw an opportunity, the agent had 30-35 minutes left to come.
I left the hotel and started running like crazy. I ran so hard that I stopped directly at the police station. I told my story to the police inspector. I was scared because many policemen also came to the base and some of them had a share in it. But my luck worked here. The police inspector was a very honest man. He gave me full help and protection. Some people were also arrested and I was sent to an NGO far away from this city. Here I resumed my studies, 2 years ago I completed my graduation and by the grace of God, I will also complete my BTC this year. Today, if there is any parent for me, then it is the police inspector and this NGO madam.
